THE GDF STANDARD · SHENZHEN BAO'AN
Our Corporate Culture:
Three principles · How to verify each one · 500 pcs MOQ |
|
At GDF Printing, culture isn't defined by slogans on a wall — it's defined by how we treat our machines, our materials, and our clients' trust. Three principles guide every box we make. Below is what each one means in practice, and how you can check it yourself before placing an order. |
01 / PRECISION FIRST
"Close enough" is never good enough
Packaging is structural engineering. A box that looks right in a photo can still fail on the shelf — and by then it's too late.
· Tolerance over approximation — V-grooves cut at a true 90°, mortise-and-tenon joints, held to ±0.1mm.
· Machine discipline — Heidelberg presses and die-cutting lines maintained in-house. A clean machine makes a clean box.
· Structural integrity — every box passes our drop test and snap-fit test before it leaves the floor.
|
HOW YOU CAN VERIFY Fold a white sample once — it should stand crisp without springing back. Load it with your actual product and drop it from 80 cm; the lid should stay shut. We send the sample; you run the test. |
02 / SUSTAINABILITY AS A STANDARD
A manufacturing requirement, not a marketing line
Since the EU PPWR took effect, "eco-friendly" has stopped being a label you can print. It's now something a sorting line has to recognise.
· PPWR-ready by default — mono-material structures, water-based coatings, plastic-free builds. Not an upgrade you pay extra for.
· Waste reduction — digital proofing and optimised die-line layouts to cut paper waste on every run.
· Safe materials — FSC-certified, non-toxic raw materials throughout.
|
HOW YOU CAN VERIFY Ask for the material breakdown: is it mono-material? Is the magnet bare and removable by hand? Is there a lamination film? Three questions — they separate real compliance from a printed green leaf. |
03 / ACCOUNTABILITY IN EXECUTION
If it's wrong, we fix it
Most packaging problems aren't caused by bad machinery. They're caused by nobody owning the outcome.
· No blind outsourcing — die-cutting and proofing stay in-house, so there's no passing the buck to a subcontractor.
· Transparent communication — we tell you the truth about lead times and material limits. We don't over-promise to close a deal.
· Client success focus — we treat ourselves as an extension of your supply chain. Your packaging problem is our engineering problem.
|
HOW YOU CAN VERIFY Ask to see the workshop on a video call, or ask for two clients who've worked with us over a year. Factories that keep their own tooling are usually happy to show it. |
